Throwing My Support Behind BLM & ANTIFA
It may come as a surprise to many of you to see me voice my support for BLM & ANTIFA, since I’ve previously called them terrorist groups on more than one occasion. Well, it depends which BLM & ANTIFA.
Baby
Lives
Matter
Always
Need
Truth
Integrity
Faith
Agape (Love)
Why wouldn’t we support this BLM & ANTIFA?! They are not just cultural or political pawns and footballs when we want to push a certain narrative either. Let’s contrast my version of BLM (Baby Lives Matter), with the BLM (Black Lives Matter) which has wreaked havoc on people and communities around the country. First of all, supporters of Baby Lives Matter care about baby lives in all circumstances! It doesn’t matter what stage of development, what race, who is carrying them, or who is trying to put an end to their lives — WE ALWAYS VALUE THEIR LIVES! That’s because we believe God gave their lives as much value as ours. We also recognize we were all babies once ourselves. We see the ideal life of a baby being the result of an act of love between one man and one woman in a marriage, but advocate for the life of the baby in any circumstance. That’s why we see the same value in a baby’s life whether he was conceived in marriage, a one-night stand, an oopsie-daisy of any kind, or even a rape. We see the same value in a baby’s life whether he is raised by two parents, a single mom, or given up for adoption. That’s because we don’t define the value of a baby’s life (or any life), God does! Just as we considered it an injustice when blacks and women didn’t have the same rights as whites and men for extended periods of time in our country’s history (still don’t in many countries), we consider it an injustice that babies don’t have equal rights to more developed human beings outside of the womb. We corrected those wrongs and we need to correct this one!
In contrast, Black Lives Matter does not care about black lives in all circumstances. In fact, they pick and choose which black lives to get behind. That’s not surprising for a group whose founders and beliefs are rooted in Marxist ideals. Standing up for certain black lives is not a morally-sound, principled stance, but rather a means to an end. If they truly cared for all black lives, then they would be standing up for keeping the nuclear family together (they stated they were against that, before scrubbing it from their websites). If they truly cared for all black lives, then they would be preaching against gun violence and gang activity in their communities. If they truly cared for all black lives, then they would condemn organizations like Planned Parenthood and drive PP out of their communities for committing genocide against their babies. They don’t do those things though. Those net positives get in the way of their favorite modus operandi — blaming and attacking white people and/or the system. Marxists gonna Marxist. Gotta keep that “us” vs “them” thing going at all costs! When you can point out something a white person or the system did wrong (even if they didn’t do anything wrong in that specific instance) and paint black folks as victims (real or alleged), then it’s a win for BLM. Of course, when they decide to take action by bringing Burning, Looting, and Murdering (Hey, that’s BLM too) to neighborhoods which have large populations of black folks, that’s just to show they care guys. Also, that too is the fault of white people and the system you see. Yeah, they are frauds. It’s not exactly a surprise that they’ve hurt black lives more than they’ve helped, while the founders have defrauded supporters out of millions of dollars to Buy Large Mansions (Golly, BLM is everywhere).
Now let’s contrast my version of ANTIFA (Always Need Truth, Integrity, Faith, Agape) with the ANTIFA domestic terrorist group. First off, ANTIFA is supposed to stand for anti-fascist. It’s ironic that members of this group are the ones trying to shut down speech and are the biggest defenders (sometimes violently) of the powerful corporate-governmental juggernauts that control society. Or is it by design? Although I take what they are doing seriously (they bring serious damage to communities), I would take them at their word if they changed their name to just FA (fascists). Then we could have a real discussion about why they feel the need to silence and violently attack people. Ironically, supporters of my version of ANTIFA are typically real anti-fascists too. I think if we tried a method that was driven by Truth, Integrity, Faith, and Agape, then we could actually achieve some of their stated goals. At the very least, we would be closer to standing for something that ANTIFA claims to support. Unfortunately, that ANTIFA is more likely to continue their street tactics because they thrive on fear, force, and chaos. They tear down others to build themselves up. By contrast, Truth, Integrity, Faith, and Agape are driven by love and bring clarity. People focused on these things want to tear down walls that separate, to bring people together. We also realize these things aren’t designed by or coming from ourselves — they are from God!
So, which version of BLM & ANTIFA are you going to support? When you realize what, or rather who, is behind each version, then it should be an easy choice.
