This is probably my favorite worship song of all time. Not surprisingly, it’s beautiful in Spanish as well. I can’t speak/understand Spanish at all, but it’s always so great to see and join others worshipping in their native language. During my time in Hawaii especially, we had regular worship in Korean, where myself and others got to try to sing worship songs in their language despite knowing very little or no Korean. Our Korean brothers and sisters were always touched by the effort and you could feel that unity through the body of Christ on another level. I had a similar experience in China singing Chinese worship songs when I had no language skills and later when I could speak the language and actually knew what I was singing. I also had the chance to teach Chinese friends English worship songs (sorry you were stuck with such an awful singing teacher) when I knew they could barely speak the language. I was also touched by their efforts. I see those same feelings being shared in this video between Christine and Kristyn. What a beautiful moment. Every tribe, nation, people and tongue! Hope you enjoy this as much as I did, whether you can understand Spanish or not…
The lyrics are in the description of the video on YouTube. I’m not going to copy them here. Have a blessed Sunday!
