BOOST With Jesus
No, I’m not talking about booster jabs or other things that can’t save us while bringing a false sense of security. I’m talking about living a life of BOOST. Not the BOOST Ensure they’ve been pumping into ‘Build Back Better’ Biden, but this BOOST:
Being
On
Our
Savior’s
Trail
Seeing all the things we pursue instead or before Jesus, is it any wonder we end up on a different path? I’m speaking mostly to Christians here. Non-Christians are still busy choosing their own trails, so they will remain lost in the woods until Jesus unveils their hearts. I know it can be fun and give us a sense of self-worth to try and find our own way, but what do we gain by following the path of the lost rather than the path Jesus has laid before us? We quote Bible verses where Jesus says, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me,” (John 14:6) but then we just go stumbling and going in circles as we follow the ways of the world. Makes total sense right? Umm, no!
Instead of trying to inject Jesus into our lives, maybe we ought to make a habit of checking if we are in BOOST mode. If our focus is to Be On Our Savior’s Trail, then it shows we are looking to Jesus and making an effort to follow the way He has paved for us. That’s much different than sprinkling some Jesus spices onto the plates we prepare and telling ourselves that our lives taste much better than they really do…
We all need a boost sometimes, and living with an attitude of BOOST might be just what we need. Let’s activate BOOST mode now!
